TEENAGE SIN TASTE is a one man project from south of France. Wil started in a «new wave electro» style, but noise shoegaze and punk have come back from his roots with his last album «Almost Transparent Blue», release on 15 Degrees records, a young label.
As remixer (Bloody Knives, Screen Vinyl Image, Thot...), his last work on the german band THE LOST RIVERS’ song «Fall» brings him to Phil Wolkendorf, who contribute on two tracks : COLD STAR and LIGHTS OUT. This collaboration couldn’t have been so perfect for «Almost Transparent Blue» !

2013 sees the release of a new EP called « SKIN » on D-Monic label, featuring once again Phil on vocals. This EP is composed of 4 brand new tracks more minimalists, but the TST sound is still here, fresh and starightforward !

Wil is also the CURL’s guitarist, a 14 years old band from Nice (France), including ex-members from famous goth band CORPUS DELICTI and CRANES (UK), plays guitar too in RAPIDO DE NOIR from Aix en Provence (France), features in the last ALEX SINDROME’s ‘’Superdition’’ album.

"French label D-Monic (the guitar offshoot of electronic label M-Tronic) has just released in the middle of July new digital 4-track EP "Skin" of shoegazer/postpunk/noise-rock projekt TEENAGE SIN TASTE. It is a band of Wil Garcia - active guitarist of groups CURL and RAPIDO DE NOIR and "spiritual brother" of shoegazer guru Dean Garcia (CURVE). I have not listened to latest TEENAGE SIN TASTE's album "Almost Transparent Blue" yet, but this new mini-release surpassed all my expectations - it contains only moving, intensive, driving, loaded with guitar processors, dark and cold garage noise rock compositions with slightly processed dusky male vocal. Every track on EP "Skin" could be released as the strong single, because can alone seduce admirers of row-shaggy, but melodic and catchy modern noise rock with clearly detected postpunk, new wave and shoegazer influences. The most quiet and comfortable track on release - title song "Skin" with leading "half-gothic" guest-vocal of Phil Wolkendorf (THE LOST RIVERS) and the fastest, provoking and hurricane concerning guitar sound thing - song "Hit Me". But I like most of all tortuous, sexual, melodic and rhythmic, bruising itself into blood and purling like mountain rivers after long pouring rain songs "Taste It" and "Looser" with stimulant guitar sounds. This is pure delight and crash "dark rock-and-roll"! Resume: EP "Skin" - great example of really cool, fresh and stylish alternative rock-music, which doesn't fit the bounds of MTV pop-rock mainstream, but is capable to unite rebellious youth and experienced melomans of elder generations. This release is nice present for fans of JESUS AND MARY CHAINS, A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS, THE SOFT MOON, MORPHEME, VELVET CONDOM, PRESS GANG METROPOL и REAL SPACE NOISE. My recommendations!"
